Prosím can appear before or after the request and is usually set off by commas. With direct address, use prosím tě (informal) or prosím vás (formal/plural). It commonly softens imperatives or requests framed with mohl bys/ste…?.

Prosím is a short, neutral reply to thanks. Alternatives include Není zač (“don’t mention it”) or Rádo se stalo (“my pleasure”). Often used alone as a full turn.
